Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BotForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

BotForge generates, hosts, and manages Discord bots built from our library of feature templates. The free tier lets you generate and download a bot; paid plans add hosted deployment and management.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to create or operate bots that violate Discord's Terms of Service, infringes others' rights, engages in harassment or illegal activity, or otherwise disrupts communities.

5. Abuse and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, without notice or liability, if we believe in good faith that you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, or engaged in conduct that harms the Service or other users. You may also be denied a refund for fees already paid if terminated for cause.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Generated Code

Bots and code generated through the Service are provided for your use as-is. You are responsible for how you deploy, configure, and operate any generated bot, including compliance with Discord's terms and all applicable laws. Generated code may use third-party libraries and templates, each subject to their own licenses.

8. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BotForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, its software, design, and content are owned by or licensed to BotForge. Bots you generate are yours, subject to the licenses of any third-party libraries or templates they include. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service or its components except as permitted by these Terms.

11. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you experience a service outage that materially prevents use of your hosted bot, contact us within 30 days and we will work with you to resolve the issue or provide a prorated credit.

12. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, except that you or BotForge may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

Arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), seated in Louisiana, in English, and each party bears its own costs and fees unless the arbitrator allocates them by law. Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

You and BotForge each agree that any arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis, not in a class, representative, or collective action. If any part of this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, that part shall be severed and the remainder shall remain in effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be resolved in the courts located in Louisiana.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
